Clark and Leonie are a young professional historian couple heading off on a voyage to the remote South Pacific to attempt to find a 250-year lost shipwreck. They are to be spending four weeks at sea with a predominately male crew, who soon become starved for female attention. Clark is not against his wife being friendly with these other men, helping to relieve some of the tension loneliness can cause at sea.
